Learn a little guitar

well my new years promise to myself was to learn to play guitar.

I had NO IDEA what i was getting myself into. :(

i bought a dvd program and after a month i could play twinkle twinkle and ode to joy.

don't get me wrong. it teaches notes, tabs, and how to read music. but at this rate i won't be able to play any songs i like for months.

so i said f*ck that! i'm trying to start with chords now. but i have a hard time fretting multiple strings with my left hand and getting the notes to play clearly.

but i heard one of my favorite songs from the 90's (i'm 24=old)


this shit used to rock! and i its a question i have to had to ask myself a couple time through the storm of my relationship.

but i figure i'll dedicate today to looking up how to and maybe recording myself doing so when i get it right.

any other recent songs that aren't too difficult to learn?
